Mary McFarland is the owner of Consulting by McFarland, a small consulting LLC focused on providing solutions in the areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Human Resources. Mary received the CAREERS and the disABLED Magazine’s National 2016 Employee of the Year Award.

Mary has more than 20 years of leadership experience in Human Resources at Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble, Yum! Brands, Inc. (KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell), Fifth Third Bank and GE Aviation. Mary has a comprehensive background in inclusion, diversity, culture, engagement, change management, employee development, talent management, learning, project management and organizational effectiveness.

Mary partners with the community to establish relationships and makes strategic investments in organizations that build inclusion and equality. She is the co-chair of Human Rights Campaign Workforce Equality Committee and Color Ball Sponsorship Committee. She has engaged in the Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Diverse by Design efforts since 2011.

Mary has a Master’s Degree in Executive Human Resource and Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.

Mary is certified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®).
