Beyond the Ballot: What the 2026 Election Could Mean for Your Workplace

Thursday, October 15

1 PM ET / 12 PM CT / 10 AM PT / 5 PM UTC

(1-hour)

What happens at work on November 4?

The 2026 election will determine more than who holds public office. Across the country, voters will weigh candidates and ballot measures involving healthcare, LGBTQ+ equality, voting access, worker rights, DEI efforts, and other issues that may have implications for employees, workplaces, and communities. During this Virtual Learning Lab, we’ll explore how to look beyond campaign headlines and the stated intent of legislation to consider who may be affected, how different groups may experience the same policy differently, and what election outcomes could mean in practice. Whether you’re an HR or DEI practitioner, people leader, or simply someone who wants to better understand the issues on the ballot, we welcome you to join us as we explore what it means to be an informed voter, inclusive leader, and thoughtful colleague before and after Election Day.

This VLL is eligible for 1 SHRM PDC.
