Betsy Silva is a global consultant, fluent in Spanish and English, with expertise across multiple organizational and operational disciplines including executive leadership coaching, talent management, change management and global inclusion strategies. The breadth of her professional experience encompasses a variety of industry sectors, which include Global Fortune companies focused on hospitality, manufacturing, finance, health care, pharmaceutical, privately owned corporations, and government-sponsored enterprises.

Having served as a direct member of a Senior Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO, she draws on her leadership experience to help clients develop and implement solutions that are relevant, sustainable, advance the business priorities, and are aligned to the company’s values and principles. Her motivation is to work across all organizational levels to identify approaches that build the organizations capabilities, strengthen internal employee engagement, and productivity.

Betsy’s work experience includes leadership roles at Gilead, Boehringer Ingelheim, Sodexo, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, American Express, Freddie Mac, and Sara Lee Branded Apparel Group. She has also consulted to Medtronic, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Colgate-Palmolive, United States Postal Service, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Society of Human Resource Management, and Diversity Best Practices.

As an active member of the community, Betsy is a board member of the Council of Hispanic Business Professionals in Naples, Florida. She is a former board member of the Winston-Salem Urban League, the National Center for Healthcare Leadership, a former commissioner of The Winston-Salem Human Relations Commission, past advisor to Disability: IN. She is also co-founder and former Chair of the Hispanic League of the Piedmont Triad (HLPT) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Betsy earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Inter-American University in Puerto Rico. She is a 2005 National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) Fellow, completing the Executive Program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Betsy holds a certification in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and is certified in Emotional Intelligence Assessment, Myers-Briggs, Intercultural Diversity Inventory (IDI), and the multi-rater 360-degree feedback instrument PROFILOR, and Unconscious Bias. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
