Susan McCuistion
Susan McCuistion is founder of Inclusion Works, LLC, a diversity & inclusion consulting, coaching and training organization. With over 15 years of consulting and outsourcing experience, Ms. McCuistion has been recognized for developing and implementing strategic global diversity learning solutions and integrating HR systems and programs to achieve sustainable results.
Prior to creating Inclusion Works, Ms. McCuistion worked for Hewitt Associates as the Global Diversity & Inclusion Program Leader. In this role, she was the owner of Hewitt’s global cross-cultural competency curriculum, responsible for developing enterprise-wide cross-cultural competency training in North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. In addition to her curriculum work, she was responsible for diversity measurement, diversity and benefits, and emerging workforce issues such as generations, faith, military, and abilities.
Ms. McCuistion served as Hewitt’s first full-time senior diversity consultant, working with Fortune 500 clients on projects involving diversity strategy, curriculum, measurement, and benefits. In this role, she provided intercultural competency coaching to C-suite and senior leaders, helping them to better understand their approach to cultural differences so that they could more effectively lead their organizations.
Ms. McCuistion has presented at conferences and on webinars for organizations such as The Conference Board and Human Capital Institute, and has been interviewed for articles in The New York Times and publications by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is a certified administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) TM and a certified facilitator in Cultural Transformation Tools TM. She is co-author of an upcoming Cultural Detective ® – Native American, and a certified instructor for the suite of Cultural Detective ® courses.
Ms. McCuistion has an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.. She is a registered member of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin.
