Kenneth A. Newby, Ph.D.
Dr. Kenneth Newby, President of Newby Interactive, LLC, has more than 30 years of experience in leadership, training, facilitation, diversity and curriculum design. Dr. Newby is a specialist in multicultural education and is a skilled leader and consultant who has worked collaboratively with clients in both corporate and educational institutions to identify needs, assess organizational climate and performance and implement strategies for improving productivity.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Dr. Newby was a consultant with Tarkenton and Company, Senior Associate with the National Center for Education and the Economy, manager with AT&T, a school administrator and an adjunct professor. He has received numerous awards and honors. He was recently recognized by Phi Delta Kappa as Educator of the Year for the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. In 2000, his leadership of a diverse student population was recognized with a National Blue Ribbon School designation.
Ken holds a Ph.D. in School Administration and Higher Education Administration from the University of Toledo, M. A. degree from The Catholic University and a B.S. from Hampton University. He is a certified mentor, administrator and is also certified as an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) administrator.
